This bag is made with a thick double layer of padding and our clamshell style heavy duty zippers for easy loading and unloading.  Duffle style strap handles with a velcro cushioned grip.  A padded shoulder strap with forged metal hardware.  And a 7"x15"x2" pocket on the back for all your cables and extras.

We use a 1000 Denier Nylon Cordura outer fabric with a polyurethane waterproof backing.  The padding is a polyester fiber fill which is quilted (sewn) to soft yet tough black 200 Denier Nylon lining (guaranteed not to bleed color).  We have not seen any deterioration in the padding since we started making covers in 1992, unlike foam padding which can disintegrate over time.  The double padding is approximately 5/8" thick (about 1.5 cm).  The padding feels more like a soft, glorified moving blanket and folds up easily to store away.
